SHHH! Sleeping Trailers...

SHHH, everyone is still asleep, well except for Slyvia's lil trailer....(door is open)
 and mine....(door is open)
and ofcource Juli... so she and Sylvia decided to get breakfast started... ,
I used an old wooden ironing board, covered with  a lace panal and a vintage table cover to display some of my cute little 'scotty' deco items....

Trailer Trolling.....

On my journey down to Elk, ID.... I did some 'trailer trolling' along the way,,, most times I was driving and couldn't get any photos...but I did manage to get these two! The wee little 'Tear Drop' belongs to a couple who where on their way south to meet up with friends... is this the cutest little 'mini me' you have ever seen?
Then I spotted this 1958 Aljo out behind a local Thrift store down in Moscow, ID... It was probably a real good looker in it's day but sadly has fallen into major repair.... looks like it might have been used as a hunting trailer...( the springs had been flipped to raise it higher off the ground for off road towing.).
I did see several other trailers, but again going 60mph on the highway, towing a trailer makes it kinda hard to stop and take photos...sure could have used a co-pilot... lol!

Girl Camping Weekend...

Ok, as some of you may have noticed, I have been MIA for 3 days... yep,,, I went Glamping with 14 other wonderful Glamping Divas (Newly apointed Queens of Elk, ID), all of us are members of 'Sisters on the Fly' and we try to find any excuse to sneak off for the weekend to go Glamping... leaving our poor husbands, families, and pets to fend for themselves while we have Fun, Food & Friendship....shirking the adult responsibilities of being a wife, mom or mature woman! lol!

OK, here is the deal,,, I need to get back outside to finish watering and clean up my trailer, laundry and then like Cinderella, if I get all my chores done, I can go to the Ball,,,or in my case, sit down, down load/up load photos of this past weekends 'mischief'...and post...
Happy trails....

Tony Lamas and T.V. Trays....

 Ohhh,,, sooooo pretty......
I can't believe these are mine!
I spotted the Tony Lama boots at a quaint little vintage shop out on the west side of Spokane...but being frugal as I can sometimes be,,, I passed on buying them... but thought about them for several weeks... then just last weekend, the hubby and I were in the vicinity of the little shop,,, I bribed him with a Frappaccino to let me poke my head in to see if the boots where still there....and guess what! They Where!  So I tried them on and in a New York minute... they were mine!  What are the odds of them not only still being there, but in my size!   SCORE!
The T.V. Tray is a fun little project I did, thanks to an idea in a recent Country Living magazine.. now I have a wee little table for my wee little trailer, 'Farmgirl on the Loose'... I decoupaged photos of friends and Glamping trips..... Now I need more trays...because I have lots more Glamping photos!

Illuminaries....

Never underestimate the value of small jars....
I collected a bunch of baby food jars, to use as luminaries for this years Farm Chick/Sisters on the Fly camping weekend... I just added a wee piece of ribbon round the jar...and as you can see,,,,,
for safety sake I used those little faux votive/tea light candles... I found them at the local $1 type store
in packages of 3 for $1
I have also used real candles in small jars.  Easy Peasy if you pleasy.....

Just 7 More Days Until Girl Camp!

I can hardly wait for Friday... when I head out to a little town south of Moscow, ID for Girl Camp with the 'Gang'...
Hubby & I have been up to our eyeballs in work around our property and I know I need a lazy weekend, hanging out either at the river or campfire....
 Welcome to Girl Camp....
The Some of the 'Gang'.....(lft to rt) Marie, Sherry, Mig, Tony, Deeanne & me....
This is a cleaver idea for storage...using a hanging handbag & shoe holder...perfect for all kinds of stuff and they are light weight.... p.s. I was snooping in Shelly's trailer when I took this photo!  lol!
ssshhhh!  slumbering trailers on the lower level.......
Miggy & I always seem to park our trailers side by side. Could it be the color or perhaps the Flamingos?
Juli's trailer is just behind Miggys....   We always have a wonderful time misbehaving, gabbing, and feasting on fab-u-los food. Gotta Luv Girl Camp!   Happy Trails!

Portland Oregon

So while I was down  in Portland visiting my dear friend Patty & my horse, 'Girlie'... Patty and I did a little 'Trailer Trolling'...ok, so maybe more like Junktiquing than trailer trolling... but we did spot a few trailers including this one! lol!
I know I look dorky, I just do not photograph well,,,,that's why I like being behind the camera, not in front! lol!

Metal Cart...

I found this metal cart at a local Thrift for $3.99... then added a $1.50 can of spray paint and...
it went from drab black to cute red.....
I plan to use this cart for my little trailer, 'Farmgirl on the Loose'... it's great for setting up cute deco stuff...or a Martini Bar! lol!

Thank You...

It just occurred to me,,, when looking around at all my wonderful goodies in both of my trailers, I would venture to say about 1/3 of the things are from friends, sweet gifts and  goodies that they spotted in their travels and knew would look good in my trailers...from fabric to mugs to aprons to well everything...
I just want to say thank you so very much dear friends....I always feel like I am traveling wrapped in love, beauty and friendship....

Trailer Deco....

How fortunate am I to have such sweet people watching out for me... awhile back I received a cute 'Scotty' coffee mug from a fellowette MaryJane Farm friend and I received this 'Scotty' pot holder & cookie cutter from another MaryJane Farm friend... the bookends also are from a Maryjane Farm friend..hmmm I see a pattern here.....    :>)
Junebug made the cute little green Scotty 'wallet'... and I found the red Scotty wallet at  the local Thrift...
As always, I love to re-purpose things, glass sconces to be used as candle holders, brassy metal trays painted to match my trailer and of course  one can never have enough vintage linens and hand embroidered pillow cases to decorate with.
Oh look!  a Gnome! heeheehee.   My neighbor made the cute little wool hanger for me to attach my pins to.
And these are just a few of the "must haves" we all need in our trailers...
A Hillbilly wine glass with lid to keep the flies out... lol!
Wine corker remover and wine stopper.....
Led nite light to help you see your way out to the bushes for that wee trek into the woods to go weewee!
And Binder Clips,,,for just about everything from clipping curtains back, banners on and cords out of the way...
Wait, where did the chocolate go?  heeheehee! I always travel with a stash of chocolate!

The Gnome Home....

Ok, after spending time in 'Trailer #3' Dolly~girl and I decided to go check out my Serro Scotty...yep, again, Dolly~girl is comfy.....
ummm, maybe a little to comfy.....
I try to decorate, keeping in mind to deco light so not to add to much excess weight...  that's why linens and what nots work perfect. The little blue frames are plastic and we all know hankies weigh about as much as a butterfly...
I love my mirror....not sure if it is origional to the trailer but who cares,,,because I love it!
I am very fond of the saying, "In a world where you can be anything... Be Yourself"...
People are always asking me why I named my trailer the 'Gnome Home'...well it has to do with my mother who can be very mischievious and also loves gnomes.. so I have a couple of gnomes stashed around in my trailer....so beware of the Gnome in my home!  lol!
Even my trailer has trailers.... and who doesn't love to decopauge their table... I had fun doing so...
I love spending time in my trailers......

Farmgirl on the Loose aka #3

Dolly~girl was a bit antsy today so I took her out to 'trailer #3' to putter... she liked snooping around and 'chillaxin' on the bed...can you blame her?
truth be told,,, I seriously was thinking a nap might be in order!
It's great to have an oven in this trailer in case I ever want to make and bake Scones....
I still need to re-paint my ice crusher to red...
Meet "Ms Buttons" (red hair) and Ms ApplePie (grey hair)... they are my mascots as well as a reminder of my past days of having red hair ( I think I was nearly every shade of red that 'Lady Clairol' came out with) to now with my hair going, going, almost gone grey hair! lol!
While pulling my trailer out of the barn, I forgot to take my hanging lamp down and well,,,it broke to Bupkis! After I cleaned up all the broken glass I remembered that I had this opaque globe that I had painted and was using as a candle holder.... hmm, sure enough it fits and is even more cute then the other globe that was on this lamp base.  It all worked out well....

Starlight Motel...

I love sleeping at the 'Starlight Motel"....
The toughest part is deciding which "room' to Glamp in,,,
 SHHHH! they are still sleeping...
Ok, 'girls' it's time to wake up,,, the day isn't getting any younger!  lol!
Well, can you blame me, or my kitties for liking to spend time out here?
I wish I could decorate more outside, but right now we are in the midst of heavy winds season and everything would get blown down or blown away... but soon the winds will calm down and I will get to decorate to my hearts content!
In all honesty, Gary likes 'glamping' in the motorhome more then the trailers,,,(tho I have caught him napping in the trailers!)...I suspect it's because in the motor home he can stretch out on the sofa, as well as that there is a 'powder room' with potty & shower... more to his likeing.... not that I am complaining... but I just love playing in my 'big girl version' of a little girl's playhouse! and can you blame me?
Happy trails.....

I had fun putting together this cutie for my little "Farmgirl on the Loose" trailer..
I bought these 2 metal trays at a local Thrift for 99cents each, Cleaned them off and then spray painted them my favorite color~Red....
I found and bought a Scrabble game at a local yard sale, took the wooden tiles, glued on magnets to the back side & Voila!   The 'Bling' is re-purposed jewelery with a magnet attached to the backside.
The fun part is I can use all the other letters for 'messages'. To fun!
